Are you eager to contribute to sustainable change in the circular economy? CircularInvest, backed by the European Commission’s Circular Cities and Regions Initiative, is seeking experts to support circular economy projects across Europe. Applications can be submitted through the CircularInvest web portal by the 23rd of February.
Launched as a collaborative effort by META, INOVA+, Circle Economy, and ICLEI Europe, CircularInvest offers Project Development Assistance (PDA) to circular economy project promoters. The aim? To equip them with resources to develop impactful circular economy investment projects at local and regional levels.
CircularInvest strives to provide structured technical assistance to circular economy projects demonstrating their financial viability and helping them secure investments while fostering peer-to-peer support and knowledge exchange.
The initiative focuses on enhancing the investment readiness of circular economy projects through support services in the following areas:
- Circularity Optimisation: Optimising circularity within projects to maximise resource efficiency and sustainability.
- Fundraising: Assisting project promoters in securing necessary funding and investments for their initiatives.
- Business Plan Development: Developing robust business plans that outline project objectives, strategies, and financial forecasts.
The initiative is currently calling for experts in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) strategy development and review, European and Norwegian food waste regulation, and business planning. Eligible experts should possess proven expertise in relevant fields, a solid understanding of Circular Economy projects, fluency in English, and remote availability. Experts may apply for multiple service deliveries.
